I think the combination of these scenes means a lot. Jo was so smart about it! I mean, in GoF Ron is so jealous of Harry because he is famous, rich and popular. And he is just remembering for being Harry Potter’s friend. I don’t blame Ron. I think we’ve all been through something like that. Then, he has his moment of glory, where he is, finally, the center of attention.
